Education Loan Repayment Planner

Work out your monthly repayment, total interest and total repayment from your loan amount, interest rate, course length and grace period.

How the EMI is worked out

  1. Your loan

Enter the amount your lender sanctions and the annual interest rate it offers.

  2. Study and grace months

If you don't pay interest while you study, we add simple interest for the course and grace months to the balance your EMIs start from.

  3. Repayment

EMIs use reducing-balance interest, charged on what you still owe, over the years you choose.

An example

A ₹25,00,000 loan at 11% a year, for a 24-month course with a 6-month grace period. No interest is paid during study.

The balance when EMIs start is ₹31,87,500, repaid over 10 years.

₹43,908 a month

120 payments, ₹52,68,938 in total, of which ₹20,81,438 is interest on the EMIs.

Common questions

Which balance do my EMIs start from?

The balance when repayment begins, including any interest your lender adds during your studies and grace period.

Should the repayment period include my course?

No. Count only the years you pay EMIs, and enter the study and grace months separately.

Are fees and rate changes included?

No. The estimate assumes a fixed rate and monthly payments, without processing fees. Your lender's schedule may differ.

Why do you ask for my contact details?

We ask for your name, email address and phone number before showing your estimate. Admissify uses your details and tool result to respond to your enquiry.
